Global Tablet shipments for Q4 2012 grew 74% year on year to reach 46.6 million units, driven by a very strong quarter from Android based vendors; Samsung, Amazon and Asus who produce the Google Nexus 7. Apple dropped below our expectations due to supply constraints especially of the iPad Mini in Q4.
