Q4'12: Sony: LTE Handset Marketshare Doubles

Sony shipped 9 million handsets worldwide in Q4 2012. Its position in the high-growth LTE market has improved recently and its global share doubled sequentially. However, Sony remains under-penetrated in the huge US and China regions for 3G / 4G models and these remain key challenges for the Japanese vendor.
