Do DSL acceleration technologies have potential in emerging markets?
Publisher: Analysys Mason

Operators in emerging markets are considering deploying DSL acceleration technologies. Such operators are examining important issues such as their ability to deliver pay TV, the state of the copper plant, competition from cable and the costs of deploying FTTH networks to help them make their decisions. The generally lower cost of FTTH roll-out in emerging markets plays a big part in explaining the popularity of all-fibre networks in many of these countries, but next-generation access (NGA) in general?looks to have a bright future in emerging markets.
