Strategy Analytics conducted an expert evaluation of the 2015 Hyundai Genesis premium-level infotainment system, supplemented by input from first-time users. The presence of the jog dial and dedicated hard keys along with the touchscreen provides multiple controls for safe and easy system input during key tasks. Main menus are constructed in a way that makes navigation easy using either the touch screen or hard buttons. Pairing a device was easy once the functionality was located, and phone dialing tasks were very easy for first-time users. However, destination entry and radio presetting were not intuitive, streaming media from a paired device was difficult or impossible, and many users found the jog dial control confusing and difficult to use.
