This report presents the findings of Strategy Analytics' Wireless Device Lab hands-on user benchmarking of the main and front facing cameras of selected participants’ current mobile phones. This research was undertaken in February 2015, in San Diego, USA. Participants are likely to change their camera-phone behaviors based on their location and surroundings. The most popular photo subjects for participants to capture are family and friends, followed by scenery; outside the camera application itself, the most popular application used to directly capture a photo, is Snapchat.
