Advanced Driver Assistance Systems: Euro NCAP gives $2.8 Billion Boost to Demand

Proposed changes to the rewards offered by Euro NCAP for various car safety features will result in the global demand for core ADAS technologies increasing by $2.8 billion in 2019, from $13.4 to $16.2 billion – a 21% uplift. The vast majority of the demand increase will be for the Euro NCAP-rewarded technologies: Distance Warning systems (which include all forms of autonomous emergency braking) and Lane Departure Warning Systems.
