The growing traction for mobile-based educational services in India has led service providers across the value chain to introduce innovative business models based on customer usage patterns for the effective monetisation of their service offerings. They are also forming alliances across the value chain to offer attractive services to their users. Mobile education in India is expected to grow at a CAGR of 61% to reach USD690 million by 2017, driven by cloud-based services, increasing adoption of educational apps and user-generated content.
