Q1 2014 Tablet INSTALLED BASE Country Forecast 2010-2018

We forecast over one and a quarter billion tablets will be in use by 2018 in over half a billion tablet households. The early leader; North America, has been overtaken by the Asia Pacific region this year. Countries with the highest Tablet installed base at present include the US, UK, China, Japan and France. Countries with the highest household penetration include some of the smaller or wealthier countries such as Hong Kong, Switzerland, and Singapore.This report forecasts: a) tablet installed base, b) tablet households, c) household penetration, and d) user population penetration by 6 major regions and 88 countries from 2010 to 2018.
