North America Smartphone Vendor & OS Market Share by Country: Q3 2014

Smartphone shipments improved +8% annually in North America during the third quarter of 2014. Apple topped the market due to the launch of its new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus models. LG, ZTE and TCL-Alcatel had a strong quarter, as they attacked prepaid and postpaid segments. Meanwhile, Android's marketshare held steady and it has made no major gains in the region for the past three years.
