Q3 '14: HTC: India Improving, But Rest of World Struggling

HTC’s global smartphone shipments continued to shrink in Q3 2014. The company’s volumes have been falling for the past three years and it is struggling to maintain profitability. India is improving for HTC, but the rest of the world remains a major challenge. A merger or takeover may be required in 2015.
