Global Business Tablet Shipments: Quarterly Tracking Q2 2014

Corporate purchasing continues to grow faster than the pace of BYOD growth for tablets worldwide, despite a volume discrepancy in favor of BYOD that is more than double the Q2 volume of corporate-liable. More than 69% of the tablets purchased for business use in the Q2 2014 were BYOD, but the increase in volume purchased as corporate clients by businesses grew 38% YoY, compared to 34% growth for personal-liable owned tablets This file tracks quarterly business tablet volumes purchased by enterprises (corporate liable) and BYOD volumes which are tablets purchased by individuals and used in a business capacity (personal liable).
