Vivo and OPPO Jumped into the Top 5 LTE Smartphone Vendors in Q3 2014

Global LTE handset shipments grew by a significant 90% and revenues rose 57% annually in Q3 2014. It is the fastest growing part of the handset market. China overtook the United States to become the world’s largest LTE handset market by volume for the first time ever in Q3 2014. Chinese brands Vivo and OPPO jumped into the top 5 vendor list for the first time, with surging LTE volumes and higher ASPs.
