BYOD is the primary path for tablets into the enterprise, but the corporate liable segment continues to be the faster growing category. Nearly 69% of the tablets purchased for business use in the Q3 2014 were BYOD, but the increase in volume purchased as corporate clients by businesses grew 45% YoY, compared to 29% growth for personal-liable owned tablets This file tracks quarterly business tablet volumes purchased by enterprises (corporate liable) and BYOD volumes which are tablets purchased by individuals and used in a business capacity (personal liable).
