9 System Demand Forecast 2010 to 2019: Appendices - June 2012 Update

This report contains an update of the Appendices for the Automotive Electronics System Demand Forecast in Excel format. The unit forecast is broken out by OEM by country. In 2011, the global market for automotive electronics systems was worth $170 billion, a rise of 7.2% over 2010, despite challenging economic conditions in many parts of the globe. This value is expected to continue to grow in 2012, with demand now expected to increase by a further 9.8% to $187 billion. The continued need for safer and more efficient vehicles is expected to drive demand to almost $302 billion by 2019. Amongst other enhancements, this report now includes separate break-outs of mild, full and plug-in hybrid demand.
