The rise in global vehicle production, based on LMC Automotive’s (formerly JD Power) Q2 2012 Forecast, and the increased implementation of infotainment solutions for communications, entertainment and navigation is driving the total market value of OEM and Aftermarket infotainment systems from $35.7 billion in 2011 towards $50 billion in 2019. In addition, the increasing requirement for communications and navigation will see revenues from the Infotainment semiconductor OEM and Aftermarket increase from $5.7 billion in 2011 to $8.0 billion in 2019.
