Tablet Regional Operating System Forecast: 2010-2016

Apple's iPad series looks set to retain its market leadership position of the tablet market for the foreseeable future. Android will continue to gain share during the forecast period, as will Windows OS. On both ends of the price spectrum, from premium-tier Windows Pro models to ultra-low cost Android tablets, Apple's market share will be squeezed. However, during the forecast period, iOS will remain the market leader by a healthy margin.
