UK Handset Vendor Marketshare by Operator: Q1 2012

First quarter 2012 UK handset shipments were up 8% year-on-year, as the continued ascendance of Samsung and Apple offset declines from Nokia, RIM and the other Android OEMs. The flagship smartphones: Galaxy S2 and iPhone 4S continued to sell well, while other vendors who launched new handsets in the second half of 2011 might have been disappointed they weren’t met with greater enthusiasm in the UK. This report tracks handset vendor shipments and market share at the four major UK carriers during Q1 2012: O2, Vodafone, Everything Everywhere and Three.
