France Handset Vendor Marketshare by Operator: Q1 2012

The French market grew by 10% year-on-year in Q1 2012, which was an improvement on the previous quarter’s decline of -3%. Among the factors boosting the growth of the French handset market in Q1 2012 in spite of the snowballing European sovereign debt crisis were a robust performance from Nokia and the arrival of a fourth mobile operator -- Free Mobile. This report tracks handset vendor marketshare at the four major French operators -- Orange, SFR, Bouygues Telecom and Free Mobile -- from Q1 2009 to Q1 2012.
