VENDOR SHARE: Global Handset Market by Technology: Q2 2012

Global handset shipments grew a modest +1% in Q2 2012. LTE volumes surged more than tenfold, as consumers snapped up new 4G models from Samsung, LG, Motorola and others in South Korea, United States, Japan and elsewhere. The TD-SCDMA wars intensified as Lenovo and HTC made a renewed push to grab share from local rivals in the high-growth 3G category.
