Compound Semiconductor Industry Review April - June 2012: Optoelectronics, Materials & Equipment

This market segment appears to be experiencing some turmoil as reduced investments by the Chinese government have slowed demand for LEDs and equipment. The photovoltaic and solar segments continue to experience choppy performance, as pockets of demand exist alongside manufacturers scaling back or closing their efforts. The bright spot continues to be product development as companies continue to introduce new products and improve processes.
