The ability to play the same music in more than one room in the home at the same time is offered by a variety of audio and media distribution systems. Our survey suggests that this capability is present in 20% of German households but less than half this level in the rest of Europe. 7% of Americans claim to be regular users of multi-room music distribution, and usage peaks in the 25-44 age group. iPhone users are more than four times as likely to use multi-room distribution as non-Apple users. This Bulletin presents the results of a survey of more than 6000 respondents in the US, France, Germany, Italy and the UK.
