2014/09/03 Apple Tops Smartphone Revenue Share in North America and West Europe in Q2 2014

According to the latest report : Smartphone Vendor ASP and Revenue Share by Region : Q2 2014 from our Handset Country Share Tracker (HCST) services, Apple leads the pack by value in North America and West Europe, thanks to the healthy demand of iPhone 5S and old 4S models, as well as higher ASP. In contrast, Samsung tops in the rest 4 regions, although it lost volume and value share annually due to the sluggish performance in Q2 2014.

For the first time ever, Huawei pushing into the top 5 list by value, driven by surging volumes and improved ASP. Asia Pacific remains the largest region by volume and value. Xiaomi and Huawei ranked the third and fourth position in this region by value.
